Jessica is considered a medal threat in Heptathlon at the Beijing Olympics. She is currently ranked #4 in the world.

Josh had an excellent rookie season playing for Zaragoza in the Spanish elite league. In the summer, he will instruct at Trinity Western volleyball clinics before returning to the Spanish league.

Marylène Laplante

Volleyball

Marylène graduated with an MB in accounting last May. She suffered a career-ending shoulder injury and is an Assistant Volleyball Coach at a Quebec City College.

Basketball

Osvaldo is playing professional basketball in Noerdinglingen, Germany. Noerdinglingen is located east of Stuttgart.

The Dalhousie sprint star will be attempting to make Canada's 200 and 400 meter sprint team, as well as the 4 x 400 relay team at the July 4th Olympic trials.

Jesse was having a sensational season with the Hamilton TiCats until a shoulder injury ended his year during his 11th game. Jesse's rushing and passing accounted for 1,100 yards and 4 touchdowns. He is expected to return completely healthy for 2008.

Volleyball

Joanna and her former University of Calgary teammate, Amanda Moppet, are attempting to qualify for the Beijing Olympics in beach volleyball.

Adam Ens
University of Saskatchewan
Volleyball

After playing two years of professional volleyball in France, Adam has retired from the game and is teaching in Rosthern, Saskatchewan. He still conducts volleyball clinics throughout the province.

Kim St. Pierre

Ice Hockey

Already considered the greatest goaltender in Canadian Women's hockey history, Kim is focused on being Canada's starting goaltender at the Vancouver Olympics. She has been selected as the Canadian net minder for the World Championships in Harbin, China this spring.

Ryan is still a Canadian carded elite athlete and the National 1500 meter Champion. He trains in Windsor, but his goal is Beijing.

Liz is still an assistant swim coach for the Blue's Women's team. She is completing her second year of kindergarten teaching.

The 200m and 400m specialist who also excels at relays, Brian is expected to be the team leader in Beijing.

The Doan-Reimer family welcomed their first daughter, Daly, to join three-year-old son, Jackson, recently. They now own and operate two Subway shops and Leighann will conduct her 15th consecutive basketball camp this summer in Stettler.

Corrine still plays elite hockey and directs the fitness program for the 2,000 member Calgary City Police.

Alexandre has left Maax and started his own plumbing appliance business. He still follows track closely and consults with coaches on training methods. He lives in Quebec City.

Foy Williams

Foy lives full-time in the United States but hopes to make the Canadian Olympic Team. If she does, it would be her third Olympic games.

Curtis has completed his second year of residency towards becoming an orthopedic surgeon. He was inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame last year.

Terri-Lee considers being Executive Director of Phoenix House, helping Halifax street teens, as her dream job. She has run three marathons this year and intends to run many more.

Bill is now the National Sales Manager for the Extreme Network which is a networking solution system. His hobbies include golf, touch football and coaching his two daughters.

Dr. Thyer runs for personal fitness; but being a mother of two young children, handling assignments from Athletics Canada, and working at the UBC Student Health Clinic is all the top level competition she needs at this time.
